Messidor is a Botswana based alternative Investment Manager, and a leading provider of advice an alternative investment strategies across real estate, infrastructure, private equity and private asset backed credit structures. We provide investors with investment and advisory solutions across both private and public markets through the delivery of exceptional portfolios and custom alternative investment programs.
We also pride ourselves as experts in managing custom alternative investment solutions (multi alternative asset portfolios) that enable institutional investors to address the unique risk, return and liability matching objectives of their pension portfolios.
How We Got Started
Messidor’s formation in 2011 was the merger of three firms specializing in: Investment Management Solutions (BIFM), Real Estate Development (Haighs) and Real Estate Services (Stocker Fleetwood Bird).

The leading property and investment professional in Botswana, Mr. Victor Senye, with a development track record in Botswana and Zambia including notable developments such as the Airport Junction Mall and Rail Park Mall.
The leading commercial real estate full service firm offering Agency, Valuation, Auctioneering and Property Management Services. The Directors of SFBM, Mr. Harry Fleetwood Bird and Mr. William Stocker have been involved in developments in Botswana and the United Kingdom and bring a wealth of property management experience to the firm.

Messidor manages funds on behalf of Institutional investors. In simple terms, we take long-term savings and invest them into carefully selected projects, from traditional real estate securities and assets, to bespoke eco-tourism and agriculture assets.
